  1. First wash the spinach leaves and pat dry with clean kitchen towel. Keep aside.
  2. Pressure cook the potatoes for 2-3 whistles. Once pressure releases drain the water and mash the potatoes. Keep aside.
  3. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add the the cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add the garlic and fry for a min. Add the green chilli and onion and saute till onion turns soft.
  4. Add potatoes, amchur powder, salt, chopped coriander leaves, mix well and fry for about 2 mins and take off the heat.
  5. Take a mixing bowl and add all the batter ingredients to it. Add water gently to make a smooth batter. The consistency of batter should not be very thin neither very thick.
  6. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  7. Take a spinach leave, add 1 tsp of the potato mixture in one end, add the cheese and roll it to the other end. Keep them aside in a large plate or tray. Follow the same with the remaining ones.
  8. Now take the rolls and dip them in the batter and fry them in low-medium heat till golden and crisp.
